STS Overhaul
FAA regulations and the manufacturers mandate that corporate aircraft undergo complete engine teardown and overhaul every seven to ten years, on average. Overhaul costs are skyrocketing.
The same procedure that cost $80,000 in 1990 now runs at least $150,000 (and maybe as high as half a million dollars.) Once your engines are in the shop, your bargaining power is diminished. The engine overhaul shop objective is to make a profit. If there is an option available to save you money during overhaul, while at the same time erode profit margins, do you believe the overhaul shop will recommend such an action?
STS guides your engine through the overhaul process from start to finish. We begin with a thorough engine inspection, and then prepare a complete build specification. That specification is then presented to the overhaul shop we feel can deliver the greatest performing engine at the best value - and highest safety margin. Because of the volume of engines we manage, we are afforded deep pricing concessions from component vendors.
This savings - typically in the tens of thousands of dollars - represents excellent value for our clients.
